Privacy policy

The email address you submit is stored as a contact in our audience at Resend (Resend, Inc., United States) and used only to send occasional emails about launches and write-ups. Signup is single opt-in — no confirmation email is sent. You can unsubscribe through the link in any email, or by writing to the contact address below.

The IP address of a signup request is used only to limit submissions to three per hour and is held in server memory for at most one hour — it is never stored in a database. A hidden field in the form catches automated submissions.

Umami, an analytics instance we host ourselves on our own infrastructure, records page views, referrer, browser, device type and country in aggregate. It does not use cookies, and the data is not shared with a third-party analytics vendor.

PostHog (PostHog, Inc., US cloud) records page views, page leaves and autocaptured clicks. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in your browser (cookie or local storage) to distinguish sessions. We never attach a name or email to that identifier.

Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., United States) is active only on the production site. When something breaks it receives the error message and stack trace, the page URL, and your browser and operating system. When an error happens in the browser, a replay of the interaction leading up to it may be recorded, with text masked. Roughly one in ten page loads also sends performance timing data.

This site is served from a Hetzner server (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) behind Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes connection data such as your IP address to route and protect traffic.

Your light/dark theme choice, kept in localStorage — no personal data.
